A friend of mine showed me this game a few weeks ago, and I’ve gotta say: I’ve never fallen in love with a game as quickly as I did with this. All the characters you collect as you progress are amazing. I love the little references sprinkled in here and there. But one of my favorite parts, if not my most favorite part, has got to be the phone flings. Every character on the phone is great in my opinion. The photos they send are also great. Sure there are a few things that don’t really add to the experience, like the amount of time you have to wait between texts/photos. Yeah I can skip them by watching ads and using diamonds, but I rather save them for my jobs/hobbies, and I wanna give every girl a wedding dress as well. Which brings me to another thing: The dresses in this game are all fantastic! I like Mio’s specifically. All the different designs of the same dresses on each girl really fits with their personality. Over all I love this game, and I wanna see more from it in the future. I also got Cabin Fever on the Switch, and I’m enjoying that as well. Anyway, that’s all I wanted to say. Stay moist!
Developer Response ,
Thank you for such a nice review! We are SO glad to hear that you are enjoying the game. Also thanks for checking out Cabin Fever. :) We really appreciate you taking the time to leave a review.
We hope we can continue to make content that is enjoyable for you!!
Good at what it sets out to be
TL:DR - if you want a dating sim game and have enough self-discipline to not spend all your time on it, absolutely get it. If you don’t have a good life-game balance, be careful for it’s problemaically addicting nature.
For what it is, it’s really good. There’s a large free roster of girls and personalities, and if none of them fit your niche there’s microtransactions that can unlock new ones. There’s even the internet explorer waifu. Lots of good content and simple gameplay cycle. I even notice the SEVEN DAY afk timer (extremely lenient compared to lots of other games), which means you can leave this game and come back when it works for you. If you’re looking for dating sim games, appreciate unique character designs, or are looking for more adult ish games, this is really good and likely up your alley.
The reason I leave 3 stars instead of more is because of personal reasons and the fact it’s… well, addicting. I already have my fair share of problems with technology and self-discipline, and the dozens of counting timers pulled my focused multiple times throughout the day. Mobile games in the modern day look to grab attention, and Crush Crush does an absolutely fantastic job at that. But between my own addictions and how good this game is at taking attention away from real life tasks, I had to delete it.
Good game in need of fresh material
The events are fun, the base game is amazing, but this game is in dire need of a big update rather than the usual bug fixes and limited time offers. Sure I can spend money to get more stuff, or watch hundreds of ads to get more things, I think there needs to be more. It’s an idle game, I get that, but it also has lore and relationships that seem too be forgotten as we go on. I’d love to see mini games for each unlock-able character, or something else unique to the game like the text chats; this way people won’t have to wait hours just to do something in the game (yes, I’m aware this is an idle game, but those cliffhanger text messages can only fuel me so much). I find it unlikely this will happen due to how this game has remained the same for a while now, and the creators probably lost interest in it, but even just tiny mini games would make it better; of course deciding whether it’s a must or a choice is up to the developer, as most just enjoy the text story, I just personally believe it would enhance the experience of the game. Or, perhaps, a sequel could be in the works? Either way, more main game content isn’t bad, mini games would be cool, and existing characters deserve more spotlight. Have a good day!
