Turn On Your TV Effortlessly

While turning on the TV is possible, it requires that your Smart TV supports Wake-on-LAN and that you’ve previously connected the app to the TV. For the initial setup, a hardware remote control is necessary. After the first setup, Universal TV Control will handle the rest.

We currently offer the following auto-renewing subscription options for the Premium version:

- $29.99/year

Purchased through the application subscription TV remote app is updated every billing period. To ensure that the subscription is not renewed, you need to disable automatic updating at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription. Auto-update can be turned off at any time in your iTunes account settings.

Subscription is automatically renewed if auto-renewal is not disabled no later than 24 hours before the end of the current period. Subscription will be renewed automatically within 24 hours before the end of the current period for a period similar to the previous one. You can manage your subscriptions after purchase and disable auto-renewal in your account settings. Subscription is paid from your iTunes account.

Not working

So far, this is doing nothing once connected. I only gave 5 stars so the developer would look at it. This does absolutely nothing.

Doesn’t work.

Tried to connect this to my 2019 Sony TV, and it can not find it on the network; other remote apps have worked in the past. I attempted the recent update to fix Sony TV issues and it still didn’t work. I picked this up when the subscription service was free, but in an attempt to uninstall the app to troubleshoot the issue, my subscription disappeared and I was prompted to pay for it. I found the well hidden X to bypass that, but even afterwards the app will still not connect to my TV.

It might be a good sign to avoid an app, when one of the very few options on the settings tab is to request a refund.
