Split screen doesn’t work well with older version

I have the newer and the older version camera and the split screen doesn’t always load the picture for their older camera. I have to close out and reopen over 10 times to get it to work.

Great camera. In my top 5 baby product purchases

I love this camera/monitor. Very, very clear images day or night. Options to scroll back playback or zoom in. Also options to change settings / alerts. For example my baby is in the snoo at the moment so I have certain features turned off on the camera (for now, until he is in his crib). I like that I can control settings / features and decide what I want to be notified about.
Taking about features, Lol, I used the speaker to actually shhhh my baby to sleep today after I could see he was fussing. I’m surprised but it worked and he went to sleep. So I like that I can talk to him. I like the playback options and how you can go back into the past 24 hours and record and save 2min portions. I also like the temperature and humidity readings. When baby is in his crib will add option to use roll and face covered alerts.
It does occasionally display a message saying connection is unstable. I usually close the app and reopen when this occurs. I haven’t noticed it completely freezing. Just a slight lag. My Husband and I have the app on our phones and on our spare/old phone. And it’s been great as we can use that solely as the baby monitor.
Out of all the camera/monitors I looked at getting I’m glad we landed on this one.

Love it love it love it

I’ve had this camera for years since my child was a baby! I still remember before buying this I was a using an old iPhone as the baby monitor and it just doesn’t do the job. Cubo has saved us from SO much anxiety, the A.I. took some great photos of moments that we never even noticed, and has gone with us to so many places! To this day with my 6 yo we still use it as a home monitor and just check up on him when he’s in his room playing on his own. If I did to all over again I would’ve chose cubo still without a doubt. You won’t regret it and it’ll last you a life time!

Very basic

3/20 update: Finally Picture in Picture mode added! Changed review to 5 stars. One day I hope to get a web interface for monitoring on a pc but that’s probably unlikely and doesn’t affect how the app functions.

12/25 update: still NO Picture in Picture mode. This app makes your phone useless while monitoring your baby. This is a basic iOS feature. Removing a star after every update that this isn’t added. Please add Picture in Picture mode like every other video app on Apple devices. It’s frustrating that you can’t leave the app and still see the video.

Unreliable

We’ve used this app for over a year now and it’s gotten worse and worse. Twice in the last two weeks we’ve had to go into our daughters room after we’ve put her down to set up our RF travel monitor (waking our toddler fully up) because the camera wouldn’t connect. Unacceptable.

Connectivity was much more reliable a year ago. Please roll your build back a year, fire your head of engineering and stop adding features if you can’t thoroughly test them.

Reduced availability once membership enda

We did not extend the membership subscription, and immediately the availability of the basic live stream became dramatically low (loading forever with no live feed). So you have to enter the room again, wake up the baby again while unplug & plug it, which was recommend by customer service. We had to set another remote control outlet for this scenario.
Maybe we has to buy the membership again to get over this?

Finally picture-in-picture feature

Finally, version 2.9.0 picture-in-picture added the last piece of puzzle to the 5-star review. No longer need to switch in and out of the app.

Consistent Server issues

There are consistently server issues where I can’t connect to the camera feed. It’s unacceptable for this kind of product where there are times I can’t see my baby. The app itself is terrible with poor UX and weird notification settings. Don’t recommend this app or the product, go with Nanit instead.

Excellent baby monitoring app

We use this app to monitor our 15 month old grandson. It’s a great for parents with new born & young children. Very user-friendly. Easy to use.

Running in Background

Since the last update, the app will somehow be running in the background even when I don’t have the app open in the background. I’ll notice the sound playing and my battery dying. I have to open the app and then kill it to stop it from playing sound and killing my battery.
