Seems like a good idea
The visuals are great! This seems like a really great idea!
the app itself is clean cut, easy to use, and shows interesting job prospects for teenagers.
however, the app is only as good as its maintenance and if this app has anyone actually running it, i would be surprised. my school held an entire assembly about this app and so far, no one i know of has received a job as a result of this. i attempted to apply for a two jobs using the app, and three business days later, the counselor at my school approved one job and denied the other. i was offered no explanation as to what this meant, what the criteria was for this, or what to do next. i hit the “apply” button for the job, which was the only option available as there was contact information for the employer or the person from the school, and nothing has come from it yet. this was months ago.
i did, however, take matters into my own hands and go into the business in person to apply for the job, which is what i would recommend to anyone who actually wants to work.
1/5, would not recommend.
Developer Response ,
Thanks so much for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to write a review! We have been busy updating the app and working with your school district to make the process more efficient for the coming year. Each school approaches the student/job opportunity connection a little differently and we're trying to accommodate each school's desires in this area.
I would encourage you to talk to your school counselors or CTE Director if you are concerned about the delay in the response you received. Please feel free to give them more detailed feedback which will help us to improve our app.
Thanks again for your feedback.
