Love this app but....

It's a great little app for making a custom mouse cursor. I use multiple large screens and it's very easy to loose my mouse without an app like this.

One problem: when a system message window pops up e.g. Mac doesn't recognize a hard drive I plugged in, or an app wants permission to access a part of my system, or any other system message window, the mouse does not interact with it. The buttons appear to press when I click on them but nothing happens. Those system message windows are persistant on top of other windows. I could not get them to go away without rebooting. Finally figured out that I had to exit Cursor Effects 2 and then everything worked fine. Running on a new MacBook Pro with M1 Max chipset.

Can't turn it OFF

Nifty little app. Love the wide variety of affects available. But one very important one is missing - OFF. At least I don't see anywhere to turn "effect" off.

While "creating' a custom effect, I saw that by turning off one or two metrics, I was able to effectively create a 'cursor only' option. Titled it 'DEFAULT' and saved that. Problem now is finding that new effect. Not at the top, not beside the one I edited. Maybe at the bottom but discovered that the list is virtually endless.

good choice

I needed something to easily spot my cursor. I almost didn't choose this and almost deleted it when I saw it was only a 7 day trial then buy. After a few minutes checking it out I paid the small purchase price. It is intuitive and very customizable. I haven't found instructions yet, but already made what I need. This review is being done after only 15 minutes use, and uncharacteristic of me, so you know what I think.
