Someone needed to be first to combine conversational AI with spatial computing. I’m glad the first effort is a whimsical take on our fascination with future tech. This is a great milestone in the merging of MR and ML — or AR and AI if you prefer. Actually, I should probably ask Sam to explain for me what the differences are between all these acronyms.

This experience has a bit more freedom in terms of what you can ask it unlike another AI companion app like Wisp World where it has you sorta following a set story centered around teaching it about the real world and being some sort of pet simulator(I’m also familiar with Wol made by the same developer).What this does different from all the other AI companions I tried/ know of is Sam’s quirky western responses when you ask it certain questions. For the price I’d say its pretty good for what it is compared to something like Wisp World. Though some features to add could be something like a text box input/ chat log so I can at least see what me and Sam are saying and maybe some actual secret code word that would actually break whatever fishtank prison its stuck in just to grab the objects and throw them to bounce around my physical space or something. I’m interested to see where this goes…
