This app is perfect for me I send my daughter a dad joke regularly thanks for the help lol

Whether someone likes a joke is purely subjective so I'm not reviewing the actual jokes in the app - they're corny, as "dad jokes" tend to be, so whether you like them is a matter of personal preference.
I'm just rating on the fact that moving between jokes is difficult. You have to swipe to get to the next one, but it doesn't move easily. I don't have this difficulty with other things I try to do on my phone. There is an option to shuffle them, but I don't want to re-order them - just move to the next one in the deck.
There are also no options for settings. I don't know what you might want to change, but if you wanted to there is no way to do so.
I'm probably making more of a deal over these things than is necessary but wanted to mention mu thoughts.

A scam?

First: They show 458 reviews but you can only read 5? Really? 453 people left no comments? I find that hard to believe. Secondly a very discreet message popped up when I was scrolling through jokes. When I tried to go back to the app…I was suddenly charged $2.99 2 times. I still don’t know what I paid for. There too many other sources for jokes. I immediately deleted it. They’ve asked me to update my review, because they do not have any in-app purchases. I redownloaded. They are right. They don’t. But what they do is, if you are scrolling through the jokes, you’ll suddenly get to an ad that is very cleverly disguised and you will click on it. So I’ll add one star….but it’s still a no for me.

We are sorry you experienced issues, however this app does not have in-app purchases nor does it have subscriptions. This app’s content is 100% free as shown in the Apple product description, it is impossible to be charged by this app without your consent as it would have to go through the Apple review process. We do not like taking too much of our customers’ time and therefore ask them to only give us star ratings and only after using it for a while within the app. We hope this addressed your concerns satisfactorily and that you are able to enjoy our content.
