Description

Dah-Varsity is based on the African American Father and Son co-founders of Toyz Electronics Damola and Wole Idowu. The game exposes diverse and disadvantaged students to interactive STEAM learning experiences involving Automotive, Math, Music, Literature, Design & Prototyping. Students are inspired by the inspiring story of Damola and Wole. They are both creatives, engineers, and entrepreneurs. Damola enrolled as a full-time student at Syracuse University studying Mechanical Engineering and Economics at 16. He will win an Engineering Design competition at Howard University at 18. His son Wole Idowu graduated HS at 15 and was featured on the CNBC documentary 20 under 20 Transforming tomorrow. He will enroll at Carnegie Mellon University at 15 and graduate at 20 with an Electrical and Computer Engineering Degree and 2 minors in business. Dah -Varsity is a virtual learning Metaverse platform that provides STEAM education worldwide in over 100 languages. It is based on the concept create by Damola while studying engineering at Howard University called Superhero Rap. Superhero Rap centers on Idealism which is your Highest self(Super ego) and the ideal world you want to live in. Your villain is your obstacles and you use STEAM concepts to imagine your superpowers. Students learn growth intelligence and problem-solving in a culturally relevant and practical way based on representative founders who actually have similar lived experiences.Through our platform, companies, university students and young students will build a unique trilateral relationship of mutual help and support. We are committed to matching education from the world's top universities with employment opportunities at the industry's top companies to our users, allowing our students to complete their education and gain access to success at any time, from any location. Game development began at the Entertainment Technology Center at Carnegie Mellon University. With a project related investment from the Richard King Mellon Foundation several updates were made by the Toyz Electronics team. Innovation Works part of the Ben Franklin fund from the State of Pennsylvania has also made an investment. We now have this game on multiple platforms, mobile, TV, and desktop, and console in the near future. Damola and Wole have worked with over 3000 students teaching STEAM. They used their experience in the development of this app. https://www.theesa.com/news/toyz-electronics-changing-the-game-for-kids-in-underserved-communities/

Really cool!

I’m not a huge video game player, but I have to say the whole concept is so original and I’m enjoying it 😌 I’m having fun, and it’s currently the only game on my phone besides chess.com 😂
