Learn & read the Bible in the Biblical Languages, one daily dose at a time. Short, trusted videos in Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic, Latin, and the Septuagint.
Daily Dose of Greek has grown into Daily Dose of Scripture.
Continue learning Greek with the Daily Dose you already know, and explore Daily Dose lessons in Hebrew, Aramaic, Latin, and the Septuagint—all in one free app.
Use Today to continue with the newest available lesson in every language you follow. Work through ordered Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic courses in Learn, browse expandable books and chapters, or search the lesson archive by passage or topic. Passage searches put lessons in chapter and verse order.
Watch lessons in a clean video view, continue through an ordered playlist, and mark lessons complete with a tap. Read the associated passage when verified text is available, explore word details where provided, and share a lesson with others. Tools also includes Read & Listen, which opens the website Reader.
An optional local reminder can let you know around your chosen time Monday through Saturday. No account is required, reminders are off until you enable them, and your preferences and completion marks remain on your device.
Your most recent Today results and up to 20 recently opened lesson details remain available offline while cached. Videos and uncached content require an internet connection. Readers are not saved for offline use across app restarts.
This app is great for anyone who wants to keep up their Greek (I haven’t used the learning bit of the app, so I can’t speak for that)! It gives you a great translation and parsing of a Greek sentence that is very straight forward and easy to understand while still paying attention to smaller details, like the balance and layering of the sentence. It helps get over the worst curses of lazy language learners like me who, first, don't seem to find time to get out all your books et cetera by having a single convenient video no more than 2-3 minutes everyday. And second, for those who, when you do start to review on your own quickly lose heart as soon as you hit a road block and have to pull out a dictionary or class notes, or just plain can’t find out the present stem of some lovely aorist, as all the translations and forms are covered in the videos! Also, it makes a great reference tool as you have access to all previous videos (it’s by no means the whole of the New Testament, but it is a good deal, and you get more everyday;)) I plan to recommend this app to all I know who have studied or want to study Greek!!! Excellent, excellent app!!!
So helpful! Minor suggestion:

These videos are helping me make it through Greek 2 like an awesome study buddy. I am so grateful this app exists and that I have access to explore it without fee. Please keep going!! This is blessing so many people with the ability to better understand and teach from God’s word.Minor suggestion, some of the videos are reverse sorted, meaning auto play goes backwards to the previous verse each time the video stops. For instance I’m watching all of John ch 6 right now and because they are listed In reverse order, I have to back out and select the next video every time, rather than just clicking “next” or allowing auto play to have its function. It would probably take two seconds on your end for your tech guy to sort the other direction, bringing your auto play function back to life. Please keep going! This has helped me understand so much during my studies. It’s a real blessing.

If you are studying Koine Greek, you have to get this app. Greek is so difficult and complex, and one of the best things about how this guy teaches is that he uses highlighters to point out different aspects of the order of translation because of the funky way that Greek operates. It probably works best about four weeks into your Greek one class in seminary because you know just enough to be dangerous but the videos help extend and augment your learning by parsing every sentence. It’s an incredible app. I highly recommend it!

I’ve been a long time user of Daily Dose and the app makes it even easier to access. I love the presentation. Seeing the catalogue more easily also helps with quick navigation and library searches. I saw that there was a lower review because of iPhone X crashes, but my iPhone X is running it perfectly with no crashes. Great app!
This update improves lesson navigation and video controls.
• Open the right playlist from today’s lesson.
• Read Hebrew passages with clearer vowel points.
• Enjoy improved video controls and fullscreen playback.
• Find an optional review link in Settings to help others discover our ministry.
Thank you for learning with Daily Dose.
