No More Shuffling Books
The cycle of daily prayer called the Daily Office is one of the great treasures of the Episcopal / Anglican tradition. It has formed the ground for the spiritual lives of countless Christians in and out of this tradition, and it continues to help those seeking a rich, accessible pattern of prayer, scripture, and reflection.
One of the Office's greatest assets is also among the greatest obstacles to newcomers: the breadth of options available to one within the liturgies of Morning Prayer, Noonday Prayer, Evening Prayer, and Compline can be overwhelming. Without guidance, the many rubrics and directions can be confusing to those unused to the particular logic of the Book of Common Prayer.
This complexity, coupled with the need to refer to another text entirely for the readings from scripture while referencing a difficult-to-navigate lectionary can discourage a would-be user of the Daily Office before ever beginning!
The Daily Office app, however, streamlines all this complexity while allowing users to have all of the depth and flexibility of the offices at their fingertips! Seamlessly integrating the prayers, psalms, and selections from scripture for you Daily Office makes praying this ancient cycle of liturgies both beautiful and easy!
Fixed several bugs:
• Daily devotions should launch properly
• Some typos in the lectionary have been fixed that were causing trouble
• The settings for the Noon Devotion should behave properly

Great spiritual aid
I have been using the app for morning prayer and compline for about four months. I love the ability to tailor each for my own tastes and needs. The app has helped me strengthen my spiritual discipline.
The only complaint I have relates to the number of typographical errors. I guess my OCD is showing, but they distract me from my routine (see repeated words in the second paragraph of the Jubilate, plus sometimes using you when it should have been your, etc.).
Overall, I love the app. It would be even better with some more careful editing. Thanks.
In the quiet dark of the early morning I pray. This app allows me to never turn on a light (I use the accessibility option on my phone to invert the colors), nor search for a book or flip pages looking for the next reading. There is a certain serene joy in the simplicity.
This app allows for a great deal of adjustment and modification depending on the rite and prayers and collects you might choose.
I've dropped way more money on books I haven't even read yet than I paid to have this app. It is completely worth the money. In fact I'm almost embarrassed by how inexpensive it was compared to how much I use it.
My sisters and brothers in Christ I wholeheartedly endorse this app.
Soli Deo Gloria
Really one of the best out there.
So I will start by saying that I think the app is worth its price point, as the other comparable app as far as price goes, electronic common prayer, contains much more information, but forces you to click through a bunch of links to get to the relevant passages. As such, I like that this particular app allows you to seamlessly move through the office without any flipping for adjusting. Additionally, and this is a huge addition in my opinion, this app allows for the alternative readings to be used. This is something I have not seen on any other app that uses the two-year daily office lectionary. That feature alone makes the app worth it to me.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
