Wow, I am absolutely in love with this app. I’ve always loved the idea of Hobonichi-style planners, but in practice, it’s very difficult to go 100% pen and paper. Also, there’s a surprising amount of stress that goes with committing something to paper. I want to enjoy looking at my planner, not cringing at my poor handwriting or spelling mistakes.Thank you so much for building this and giving it away. I immediately bought a Rock Paper Pencil (directly from your website, of course) to support you guys.I am ridiculously excited to dive in.

I have been trying to switch to note taking and planning on my iPad for years, but have never been able to make it work because of the disconnect with my calendar and because it felt cumbersome to scroll through notebooks. I love that I can have my calendar imported into the daily plan, which has the perfect format for me. It’s also so nice to be able to navigate by date and see all the notes associated with that date. I’m excited to see this app keep growing. Here are a few things I’d like to see:1) I use this on an iPad mini. In portrait mode, the times on the daily plan are cut off - please update this!!2) turn specific calendars on and off3) ability to move notes to a different date4) setting to allow for a bit more customization 3) perhaps beyond the scope of the app, but it would be cool if you could sync with reminders to bring in to-dosOverall, I love this and can’t wait to see how it evolves!

This is a wonderful planner app I've been looking forward to. I'm excited to use my Apple Pencil with it. However, there are two areas for improvement. First, allowing adjustment of line spacing would be beneficial, as the current spacing is a bit tight for my handwriting. Second, syncing the app between my iPad and iPad mini would be very helpful. Thank you!

I like the way the group gives a daily view and keeps all docs together grouped by day. I also like that it uses the native Apple Notes tool pallets and controls - it fully supports the hover and shadow capabilities on my M4 iPad Pro. Nice. I couldn’t find a way to insert an image of a photo either directly it the app or copied and pasted. I don’t need that ability frequently, but it’s really nice to have when I need it. Likewise, I didn’t see a way to import a PDF for marking up (or using as a notes template). It would be excellent if Astropad added those capabilities and would definitely be reason to bump up my rating.
