The app is ok, but lots of room for improvement. It’s not easy to access your ticket (and sometimes says you don’t have one), so you should be able to add it to your wallet. Also, when I switch to it, most of the time it says “login failed” for no reason. Finally, using Apple Pay does not work. I tried repeatedly, but just ended up entering my credit card details manually. It’s a good start though, and the metro is fantastic.
Too many bugs

It took me about two weeks to figure out how to use the an app to book a ride. User interface on app is slick and looks good, but it does not function properly and has A LOT of bugs. I finally figured out how to book a ride, and I booked a ride to come and pick me up at a scheduled time. It said I could activate the ticket and have three hours to use it once activated. Once the time approached, I activated the ticket and it expired within 20 minutes. And my bus on demand ride never showed up at the scheduled time. So I tried to rebook but it said none available. Meanwhile I see the bus on demand busses parked literally by my flat, with the drivers resting inside. I have booked it a few other times and it has worked. They arrived on time and everything went well. A couple of other problems: 1. If you want to bring your family with you, it is quite the process (if even possible). You have to set up separate accounts and passwords for each one of them. Even if you have a baby you have to set up an account for that baby and they have to have a phone number and email etc. then you have to log into their account to set and purchase the ticket. 2. Another pretty bad bug: you cannot cancel a scheduled trip with bus on demand. I have never seen that before….

Need to have a google functionality

The app is better than it was earlier in 2023. It is a bit useful now, but here is the issue. Let’s say I want to go to “mr Biryani ” Resturant in riyadh. I cannot use the app to find where the place is, not even where the street it is on is ! This map makes the worst assumption: the user knows the roads of riyadh ! Again I think it is essential for the app to be able to be used like a google map. I wish you the best
Needs to unify bus & metro journeys

The app is great for looking and planning your routes using either the bus OR the metro. However, for some reason it does not allow you to plan a journey using both. The app needs to recognize that as the RPT said “the buses connect you to the metro, and the metro gets you around Riyadh.” Why is it saying I have to walk 20mins to the station instead of using the very bus route made for this exact scenario?
