The Delaware Transit Corporation (DTC) is excited to announce the launch of the DART Transit App. The free app provides access to real-time bus information, DART Pass mobile payment option, along with trip planning and several other features, including:

Real-time bus information
DART Pass mobile payment
Bus stops by route and location
Trip Planner plus the ability to save Favorite Trips
Rider Alerts
Easy access to navigation buttons at the bottom of the screen
Preview of Routes Nearby
Press Releases
Contact Us
Paratransit customers can view today’s trips as well as future trips. When a trip is active, the Paratransit customer can track the bus to see when it will arrive.

DART riders can get real-time bus information, receive Rider Alerts, and pay their fare conveniently from their phone. This new app is a great example of our ongoing efforts to improve the customer experience.

What happened?

The last 2 days I haven’t been able to search bus times. It’s literally blank when I hit list to get the bus stop times and this makes it hard because I connect to another bus to get home. Please fix whatever is causing this issue

Not working and bad design

Trip planner function causes app to crash on my iPhone 5s with iOS v.12.0.1. So that makes the app basically useless. It’s also ridiculous that the bus schedules and trip planner are not integrated into the Dart Pass app where you buy the tickets. Why should there be two apps for what is one activity (find a route and buy access to it)? In fact if you click the button on the Dart Pass for real time bus info it takes you to the DelDot app when it should take you to this one. So, bad planning all around. If the programmers want some inspiration for what a good public transit app should look like I can recommend the Skånetrafiken app from southern Sweden which is flawless.

My apologies for the difficulty you are having with the application. We'll look into the crash issue and try to correct this problem in a future update. Also, thank you for your feedback regarding the integration of the two applications, we'll take a look at the Skånetrafiken app for reference.

Review Update

Im updating my review as there has been maintence done to the app! It no longer crashes for me. To answer the developers question my phone is an Iphone7. I have no issues using the app now and can find the bus routes I need to get to work! Thank you for such a helpful app!
