My Exposure to Dashlane stretches over 20+ years. I have seen it grow to meet the needs I have had in keeping my entire plethora of passwords safe. As they have increased their efforts in maintaining a multitude of individual accounts, they continue to amaze me. Each day I find something new as I explore different panels of the app. Keep on doing all you do, for this guy is full of I am grateful for this guy is full of gratitude and amazement!
Dash has put “peace of mind” back in my life. As long as I keep up my part of the deal (remembering to put the info in) then with dash I know where it will always be. It would be nice if there was a pop up to save each new ID and PW without actually having to open the app and enter it myself. I do however understand the need to double check that the info is entered correctly.
Once you load everything into Dashlane, you go to Dashlane and it links you to every log in page, inserts the necessary info and you are on your way. Too easy! And you only have to remember 1 password! For those of us with memory issues….this is a godsend. I also like that you can copy and paste the password making typing errors a non problem.
In this day and age, I needed a password manager to keep up with all the different systems and access points, both personal and public, Internet and local, and this app does it. Clumsy and slow to start, reconciling the different password Locations I was maintaining, once things have been cleaned up, and it gives you a score, it's easy to maintain highly secure passwords. The fingerprint feature on the phone also in shores that only you can access all of your passwords.
The basic functions are really useful and make my life easier. Having no password generator on the desktop version is irritating. My biggest disappointment is with Dashlane's inability to work as seamlessly with Citicards. Even worse, it that it took me two weeks to find out it was a bug, after going back and forth with customer support (I'm premium) because of the time difference (I'm in Texas, support guy was in Paris). Still no resolution, after almost 3 months
Upgrading policy is awful. I prepaid for premium til 2022 by mistake and decided that was okay however now that I need business they will not transfer any credit toward the upgrade so in essence they keep my money. A loss. And I escalated after a torturous chat that could have been 2 minutes by phone but phone is not an option. They promised someone would contact me and it’s been days and no one has. If they keep treating customers this way they will go out of business.
