Ratings and Reviews
Multi-lingual support
Great resource to complement other real time messaging services to include those that are channeled within closed groups. One thing I noticed was inconsistent results when entering the same search criteria in two different languages. It does make sense for minor inconsistencies, but it would be good if something was done to narrow the gap across languages.
You need a license to use this app
This app is designed for governments and first responders not your everyday Joe. They seem their licensing to Federal and State governments, local municipalities to help them stay up to date or get early word out of an event happening in the world. This is a great app, I am just figuring stuff out but this is NOT an app everyone can use. The company made this to get the word out fast on events happening around the world. They do this by Data Mining news feeds and social media like twitter. A key word pops up and their SW verifies what source and sends it to the app.
Currently I am using it to stay updated on Covid 19. Every time someone who checks positive and/or dies as a result pops up on my feed with date, time, and location. Again this is for First Responders. That’s why it asks for a login and not to sign up.
An important part of this app is missing
I had read a review which made this sound like a useful app, but when I opened it, it asked me to log in (not sign up), and the only option on the page was “forgot password?” Seems as though this app is only useful if you already have the app on your computer and an account already set up. This was not clear in the splash page, and so I wasted my time downloading, installing, and trying to figure out my options. Never ran into an app that you could not sign up for in the app itself.
