Bienvenido a la DB Subwoofers app de Bowers & Wilkins.

Esta app de fácil manejo le ayudará a configurar y controlar su subwoofer de la Serie DB. La app incluye guías sobre ubicación y conexionado de su subwoofer para garantizar un buen punto de partida, así como un sistema de calibración y ecualización automáticas que, trabajando de manera conjunta con el micrófono de su teléfono móvil, le ayudará a obtener el mejor sonido posible de su subwoofer en unos pocos minutos. Basta con que siga unas pocas y sencillas instrucciones y el sonido de su subwoofer se adaptará perfectamente a su sala.

Si lo desea, también puede usar la app para ajustar el nivel de volumen y la curva tonal de su Subwoofer DB a fin de que se adapte a sus preferencias personales.

Para empezar, basta con que active la DB Subwoofer app y siga las instrucciones que aparezcan en pantalla. La app detectará su subwoofer automáticamente.

Disconnects and/or unpairs at random

First, let me just say that the features on this app are great when they work properly. I like the control it affords one over the sonic character of the speaker.

Primarily, I use the app to manually disable the RCA inputs I have connected when I am done using it, because if I don’t it’s too sensitive (even in low sensitivity setting) and will periodically turn on when not in use. This is inconvenient, but manageable.

My major complaint is this: Every once in a while, seemingly at random, the sub will fail to connect to the app, after which time it seems to just totally unpair. This results in me having zero control over it, and the sub will just power on and off every 15 minutes or so if not being used. The only way I have found to fix this is to unplug it for a few minutes, then plug it back in. Aside from the fact that this should absolute not be necessary on a subwoofer that costs nearly $2,000, this is a huge pain because I have to crawl on the floor and get it out of its snug location to even unplug the thing. I have the metal carpet pegs installed, and this heavy sub can’t exactly be slid in and out of place, it’s a whole production. Then I have to re-tune it because it was moved. Please fix this issue.

Cumbersome

Went to update the app. Kept spinning for 20 minutes. Then error msg. Deleted app and re installed. Doesn’t detect subwoofer any more!!!

Our recommendation is to perform a factory reset on the subwoofer by pressing the power button 3-times in quick succession. Also, in the Bluetooth settings in the phone to forget the device to see if this resolves the issue for you. Update: I was able to update the firmware on the sub, and I haven’t had any connection problems since then. Thanks B&W!

Overall, this app is excellent. Configuring my sub with the app instead of fiddling with switches and dials is much appreciated.
