Ratings and Reviews

Reidogc ,

csv export is mess

uses semi colons instead of commas, so excel can’t read it and delimit columms correctly

Developer Response ,

This review is not true. I myself often use this program for export to .CSV. I open the result in excel 11. The result is completely correct.
Ability to select a delimiter to making CSV file was added in latest version.

Rdesch ,

only simple edits

it falls short in the complexity of the edits - you have to edit one by one … almost the same of what you can do in the same SIG application you may be working with your data, nothing more…

there is a big need to upgrade this App… if I am looking for a DBF editor and I’m already using a SIG App, then I am looking for an editor with much more capabilities to edit…

if one column in your data laks info in several rows - editing data one by one is not a solution - with several steps to edit each cell: enter, paste, commit, move down… how difficult is to include a normal table edit: select several rows, paste...

the only good thing is when you sort the data and close the file, the changes persist in the new order...

Developer Response ,

In recent versions, many functions have been added, including Find&Replace, working with a clipboard, exporting to CSV format, and so on.

Blob Dubjeeno ,

No use if your files have MEMO fields (as it states)

It does in fact state that clearly in the description, but I was hoping you could at least still view the non MEMO fields, but no luck. All my files have MEMO fields, so this App is useless to me.

Developer Response ,

In recent versions, support for many formats of DBF files (including those with MEMO-fields) is added.
