Description
DBFView - it's a quick and easy way to view (but not edit) DBF files, DBF III, DBF IV, Visual FoxPro and dBASE7 formats (with & without MEMO fields).
There are many applications that use DBF format for data storage. Some of them are written in the languages of Clipper and FoxPro.
Developers and system administrators sometimes need to quickly view the content of the files.
DBFView - it's a quick and easy way to view (but not edit) DBF files, DBF III & IV format (with & without MEMO fields, stored in .DBT & .FPT files).
DBFView gives you the opportunity to apply eighteen kinds of encoding and has functions of searching within the file and copying of block of cells to clipboard. Added function of opening files of CIECA EMS standard (Extensions: ENV/VEH/TTL/STL/AD1/AD2/PFT/PFL/PFP/PFM/PFO/LIN), Visual FoxPro (limited use for memo fields and special types of fields) and dBASE 7 (limited use for special types of fields).

Quick download. Opened small .dbt files easily. Did not test on larger files. Can copy and paste into spreadsheets and save as desired format.
opens two small dbf files, then stops opening files.
just purchased this. First two small (33kb) dbf files open fine. Close them and try to open any others and it fails to open -- keeps prompting with a file browsing box. Irritating. Not sure it is worth $0.01 let alone $2.99.

This program has thousands users, but I don't heard about problem like your problem. I try repeat your actions, but all work ok. Can you describe in more detail (may be with screenshot) your problem in e-mail to tecnical support address?
Barebones but works
No problems encountered. Opened 35MB dbf file for me just fine.
