Basic online banking software
Unlike other credit union software I use, this provides very basic account access. Looking at your checking account, only credits/debits are shown - it would be helpful to show the account balance after each transaction. In addition, you have to manually input the dates to view anything more than a day or two. This is frustrating and not user-friendly.
DCU is a good credit union and offers a lot of banking products for their members; they just need to improve their online app to compete with other banks and credit unions.
Password reset doesn't work
The basic password reset doesn't work. I reset my password time to time but with this bank & mobile app is terrible experience. I have reset my password using website and my password reset was successful and I was able to login from website but when I tried to login from mobile application it says wrong pin and I double checked the website login and it works perfectly. Then I tried couple more times to login with the same password from my mobile application and it always throws me out says it’s not a valid password and after trying couple more times my account completely locked down which did not allow me to access my account for a very long time. I had to call bank service center and wait for huge huge time to get a hold of one of the representatives and after answering like too many questions I was able to reset. Now with the new reset password I was able to login from website but not from the mobile applications. To conclude the mobile application password API call which ever it is trying to do it’s not the correct endpoint and it’s not doing right job that’s giving the user very very bad experience I hope they get better.
All I want to do is enable quick balances on my iPhone. But I feel like I am asking too much. When it directed me to log in screen to enable it. All it kept saying was it is turned off. Like I already did not know that. I need to turn it on saw I don’t have to use the app all the time and it is easier on the Apple Watch as well. I don’t know if it is a bug issue. But please fix this.
