Ratings and Reviews
Exciting and long overdue
The app is a little bare bones feature-wise right now, and doesn't have the most aesthetically pleasing design to my eyes, but so far it works functionally well on my 8plus, and I am eager to see how it develops in the future. I'm thrilled to live in an age where I can connect with other HH/Deaf people in an accessible environment whose population is limited to us, and happy this app now exists to facilitate that. Can't wait to see where this app goes, but I hope it's far! Thanks, devs!
Total scam, not worth it
I really like the concept, but I don’t like having to pay for service that well essentially treat me differently. I’m totally blind and visually impaired and hearing, and my only intention on this platform was to make new friends and learn more about sign language from people who are deaf or hard of hearing, as I’m very interested in the community as a whole. So anyway as I was downloading the app and using it for a short amount of time, I noticed a lot of suspicious messages that I was receiving. I have gotten numbers since I don’t really use the app messaging feature quite a bit, and I found out that I made a fool of myself in believing that they would ask for my information with regards to any sort of gift cards or money that they want. I literally paid almost like $30 or something around there for the service but it was totally not worth it. Please change the Apple layout as well to be a little bit more accommodating for a screen as well, and please make sure to not include anybody who’s off to spoof or scam. I’d say I’ve gotten caught in the scam trap until this gets changed I’m keeping the app and my account deleted.

Scammers galore
The idea of this app is wonderful. As a hard-of-hearing person this would be a great way to find a partner whom understands my situation directly. One problem is that this app is global. I’ve used this app for about a week now and there appears to be many accounts with people in other counties claiming to live in the US. Beyond that, regarding of the fact that there is a perfectly fine messaging system within the app, every communication I’ve experienced so far (~50) has requested to speak via text or email. I can’t fathom how many people have had information stolen from this app. The maker needs to protect its customers or Apple needs to remove this app from its store. Do not trust this app until changes have been made!
