Surfergirl915 rating unfair

I’m writing this review to say the app itself is fine. Another reviewer, surfergirl915 gave this app a 1 star rating because she said it was the fourth dB meter app she tried they are all inaccurate compared to actual meter (physical SPL meter I assume). Um, hello… have you considered that your phone’s microphone is either damaged, flawed, or simply taking in inaccurate readings? Also, if you already have an SPL meter, why do you need this? I could go on, but she should really retract the negative review as it’s unfair.

Great app for decibel reading

I have Parkinson’s Disease and during my speech strength training exercises, I downloaded this app.

The app allows me to understand the strength of my voice. Even though I felt that I was using my voice loud enough I could see via the app I wasn’t.

People can now here me better because I have a better understanding of what I need to do to project my voice

Not working.

Not sure if this is just a bait and switch to get you to click on their ads for their affiliate links, but the only thing that works on this app is the link to buy products on the web. I get no reading at all, even holding it right against my speaker. iPhone 13 Pro.
