Meditation is life changing but needs a dark mode!
The actual meditation I’ve been using for 3 years and it works incredibly well. My only complain is in the new update they made the full app white and 99% of the time I use this app right before I go to sleep and the white background hurts my eyes. If it went back to blue or even better a black background it would be perfect! But I use this app every night and it works wonders!
Deep Sleep Works!!!
I have had insomnia for years and this app just plain works to get me to fall asleep. I have used it successfully for over 6 months now and I use it every single night. You can set the therapy session to repeat as many times as you'd like, I have it set to 3 times. Andrew Johnson's Scottish accented voice calmly quiets your mind and allows for a deeply relaxed state of mind and body during the introduction, then he goes into the therapy session of helping your mind fall asleep. I recently had a minor issue with the app and emailed their customer service and turns out all I had to do was reboot my iPhone and the app worked perfectly again. Mike from customer service simply could not have been more helpful. I was pleasantly surprised to even get a response let alone the personal help he gave me. I have 4 other Andrew Johnson apps for relaxation and meditation and all are excellent!
Don’t care for new update
I get it, they endure tons of criticism for not updating, and here I am complaining about it finally happening. I liked the old app. They’ve changed it now where it actually transitions tracks in between sections of the meditation and just the brief second or two of silence has jarred me awake. I used to be able to control background noise and vocal noise independent of each other and now that option seems to have disappeared. Lastly the old app also gave me the ability to blend audio with something playing out of Apple Music. I would often use this to put on white noise so that once the meditation ended white noise would keep playing and stop me from waking due to a sudden lack of audio. I’m going to try a few more times, but I might have to find something else.
