It’s not bad as far as content. If you are a serious meditator you will appreciate it. Although the app reaks of a man trying to boost his own image and get your dollars in the process.

“Look at me, here I am again talking about meditation, you know me Mr. Meditate! Now please, instead of truly helping those who need meditation with an app that has all content unlocked, because you know, I already have millions, I didn’t do that, so I need you to fork over more money for more content after the teaser content provided. All of this will give you stress wondering why you paid for the app then have to pay again, so you will need more meditation.”

I expected a video to pop up at any moment with this exact message. It didn’t, I still felt it would.

Overall the content isn’t bad, but this is clearly an attempt to make money off of his name. I would be lying if I said the app felt genuine. Sorry. I love Deepak and appreciate him, but this was a cash grab. Just look at the last update 8 MONTHS AGO! Then today I open the app and it says the publisher suspended the app for the time being. That’s it, blank screen with that sentence. At the bottom was a button that said contact the developer, that you could not tap. Deleting. Fix this up, be a little more genuine and I’d return.

I am baffled as to why the only other reviews (at the time of this writing) rated it at only 1 star. It is now only $1.99 so I gave it a try and really enjoyed the recording that was included.

The sounds started me at first because it sounded so real! I kept taking the headphones off thinking that someone was knocking at my door! There wasn't much narration on this recording. I had the feeling of being located up higher and looking down a bit, as though I were standing on an overpass looking down at the ground.

I then purchased the in-app recording "Path to Love" for $5.99 and did not really like that one. I thought it was going to be about divine love, not romantic love and looking for a partner. There's more narration on that one, and it's 1 hour long. I only got 22 minutes into it when I got tired of it and turned it off.

I was going to purchase Dr. Chopra's device that has the eyeglasses because that seems much more convenient than using the iphone light, but it wasn't available to ship yet and I decided to buy the one from MindPlace for $249. Big mistake. I got NOTHING out of that and I spent so much money! Yes, their glasses are more convenient but their recordings do nothing for me and are not impressive at all like the one that comes with this app.

I decide to try the app while I was contemplating the purchase of the goggles. After the second use, I'm still amazed. The first time I was unsure what this was all about. The lady knocking at the door surprised me and then I feel right into the vision. After the app completed, I felt rested and happy. The second time was still just as amazing. Call me crazy, but the second time I felt peace, joy, and not a single ounce of worry about my life. I noticed during the program I was unable to carry a though beyond a simple sentence, it's as though my mind had just slowed down and I gained so much peace. I am a busy executive and my brain just won't give me much peace. I'm going to add this type of meditation to my daily life.
