Defy has been a game changer for me! I had labral tearing and surgeries on both hips in my late twenties and have been dealing with tendonitis in each ever since. I also work at a desk all day, so my neck and back get sore as a result. I joined the Defy community when it first launched, and the results have been invaluable. My body is stronger, I’m sleeping better, and I just feel healthier overall in general! The app is great because it’s like having my own personal trainer, wellness coach, yoga instructor and physical therapist all in one – whenever and wherever I need it. My schedule varies day-to-day/week-over-week so it’s nice to have a variety of options for what my body needs in the moment and how much time I have to devote on any given day. If my mid-back is aching and I only have 10 minutes in between meetings to get some relief, there’s a short and sweet video for that (the filters make it easy). On the days that I have more time and flexibility, I can find classes (both live and recorded) to target multiple areas at once and get a full body workout. It beats having to leave my home for physical therapy visits with costly copays, saves the cost on a monthly gym membership, and doesn’t leave me feeling bored with the same old workout routine day in and day out (saving time and money – love that!). Dr. Melissa is so knowledgeable, keeps you motivated, and has created a wonderful community of people all over the globe. Also … you can’t beat the views in those 30-day challenges! 10/10 all around.

I’ve had this app for just under a month and I’ve gotten more out of it than my in person physical therapy! Dr. Melissa has an extensive knowledge of all things pelvic floor. The app has so much to offer. Live classes, community chats, workout challenges….AND it’s user friendly. I’ve had several fitness/yoga apps. This one is special. If you REALLY want to improve your pelvic floor health-this is THE app.

Dr.Melissa and Akili have made this app absolute magic. You have physical therapy and yoga perfectly blended into one at your finger tips. The community is vibrant, welcoming, and helpful. The content is professional and high quality. The live sessions are a perfect touch of a live yoga class from wherever I am. The monthly live q&as are literally gold. The calendar is packed with upcoming live and record content dropping multiple times a week. The advice and guidance I have received from being a member of this app is far more valuable than what I pay, honestly I’d pay double or more to be able to have this app. Get it, you won’t regret it.
