Demosphere 4+

The app is glitchy. It has good intent but so much seems unstable. Chatting is clunky, notifications are vague and don’t tie you to the event when opening the app.
Calendar used to sync to my local phone calendar (which is barely acceptable because it should be able to subscribe to online calendars), but then the events intermittently disappeared, which required us to either log out of the app and then back in or some other “force reset” solution. Now the calendar sync is not pushing to my phone at all (maybe something to do with iOS 17). But still why don’t you have the most basic calendar subscription ability yet? Why can’t we subscribe our online calendar services to the events in our demosphere app?? Families have come to depend on calendar subscription utilities. Figure it out.

Our sports league switched to using the Demosphere app this year and it does not compare to what we used previously. Not being able to distinguish between games vs practices vs team events in the calendar is annoying. Hyperlinks don’t work. I wish you could share photos in chats. If I have to make any edits to an event (ex. change the start time) it wipes out everyone’s availability if they already marked it. When an edit is made to an event, parents receive a notification, but it doesn’t highlight what was changed. When posting a game to the calendar, options to include field number, uniform, arrival time would be helpful. The chat is clunky. Messages often appear duplicated and notifications are not consistent. A preview of someone’s message in the pop up notification would be helpful. The basic notification of a message is not helpful when juggling multiple teams.

I’ve read through other reviews that mention some of these points from a while back. It’s disappointing that there haven’t been updates made quickly to make this app more appealing to its users.

Very helpful specifics - thank you for your feedback. All of the items you've shared are currently on our roadmap to enhance. Some of the feedback is related to the "games" being manually created as custom team events, versus actual "games" in the system - we are making an enhancement to improve this experience. 1. Notifications are spotty. While I can get the app to push banner and Lock Screen notifications, it doesn’t have a persistent bubble notification (i.e. the red circle with the # of missed notifications) on the app itself. As a result, parents often miss communications and renders the chat function fairly useless.
2. Including snack signup in addition to game availability would be incredibly helpful.
3. Links don’t work in the chat. This is not ideal for tournaments, sign ups, etc.
4. When uploading games / practices from a phone, they all fall under combined and do not show up under the game or practice tab.
