Error message comes up when I open the app
The app was functioning alright before with the exception of me having to log in multiple times before it actually worked (using my correct log in I’d be kicked off right after logging in and would have to log in again several times). Lately it gives me an error message and the app won’t even work.
Besides the app the bank is wonderful. I’ve been a member since I was old enough to open an account at GTE.
About what one expects
I have several institutions that I use that have this capability. This one for GTEFinancial is 'somewhat' more clunky than the others but does get the job done once you've leaned its quirks. It is, after all, much better than going to a branch or making the deposit by mail.
Image too light?
App mostly works. Super basic, but it does eventually deposit my checks.
My main issue is a constant 'Image Too Light' error, only on the back of the check. I can take the picture of the front in bright sunshine, and it accepts it the first time, every time.
The back, however, is a nightmare. I have to crouch down in a corner of my office with the lights off and the shades pulled to convince it to accept the picture. It's maddening.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
