Desktop Player 4+

Doesn't play common formats, like MP4 H.264. I don't know what kind of videos it *does* play, since thats not documented anywhere. It does play the sample videos of bubbles thats included with it. No documentation. Not even an open menu. Once you figure out drag and drop doesn't work and you need to add videos to the play list with the "+" button, it just plays back a blank screen. Like the other poster said, save your time, it likely won't do the basic thing it was supposed to ( and charged money to ) do. Things like this are the biggest problem with the apple store.

I’ll save you the time. Don’t waste your money on this. I know it’s only $2 but still. I should have known it wasn’t going to be any good when it doesn’t even list the video formats it supports in the description. Although it says it's “the best way to watch many types of videos and movies,” I sure can’t figure out what formats it actually works with. FLV, WMV, and even the most popular MP4 don’t work.
