The name gave me a wrong impression of the app

The issue is simple: if I hear that I can “rename” Spaces in the name of the app ("Desktop Space Renamer"), then I expect to be able to "rename" "Spaces". This is very specific language. But you can't. Similarly, in the second App Store screenshot of the app, I see "Mission Control" mentioned in the drop down, which, again, led me to believe I could rename Spaces in Mission Control. It was only after paying $10 that I learned that that was not in the case. Deep in the app, it mentions: "The names won’t show up in Mission Control — that part is still called “Desktop 1,” “Desktop 2,” etc.". Um, OK, this is an important note, please include this limitation in the app's App Store description.

Hey, thanks for the honest review — and you’re totally right that, unfortunately, macOS doesn’t allow any third-party apps to rename those small desktop labels (we wish it did!).That said, the app does let you assign custom names (and emojis if you like!) to each desktop space, so you can easily tell them apart. You’ll see those names in the menu bar and can quickly switch between desktops from there — which makes a big difference if you use multiple Spaces for different tasks.We’ve updated the App Store description to make this limitation clearer upfront. While the small Mission Control labels can’t be changed, the app still lets you rename your Spaces and switch between them using the menu bar interface.Really appreciate you giving the app a try.Thanks,The Curiosity Codex Team

Dock Icon Toggle: You can now hide or show the Dock icon with a single click from the menu bar-giving you a cleaner workspace if you prefer. Faster Setup: A new "Grant Accessibility Permissions" option is now available directly in the menu to simplify the initial setup process. Keyboard Shortcut Help: The new "Add Mission Control Shortcuts" panel guides you through enabling Control + 1, 2, 3... shortcuts for switching Spaces. Persistent Instructions: The setup panel now stays open while you configure System Settings, making the process smoother and more intuitive.
