Description
DGEMS (Daily Gospel eMessages) are Daily Gospel Reflections since April 2001 which helps us to find God in our daily living. We all need God to heal, reaffirm, inspire, empower, guide and give us renewed hope in our pains and joys of life.
The app contains the Gospel passage for the day, following the Catholic liturgical calendar, and also a short reflection written by Msgr Philip Heng, S.J. This app is an initiative of the Jesuit Prayer Ministry.
The short reflections are only 4-5 sentences long, making them suitable for busy people nowadays in a fast-paced environment.
If you wish, we can daily remind you to reflect on the Gospel through our app.
You can also adjust the font size according to your preference, by changing it in the settings screen or pinching the screen.
About Msgr Philip Heng, S.J.
Msgr Philip Heng, SJ is the present Parish Priest of the Jesuit run St Ignatius Church in Singapore. He is also the Vicar General of Archbishop William Goh in Administration, Finance, Religious, Ecumenism and Interreligious relations.

I LUV this app! The update made it easier to navigate, the daily Reflection, Scripture and Gospel pointers continue to be what I need to keep me on the path Christ laid out for me as a Catholics, and I really appreciate the reminder function!
Suggestion: a bookmark (Add to Favorites) function would be most welcomed!
DGEMS is an excellent Biblical resource for Catholics -- this is definitely worth downloading!!!

Msgr. Heng, You have made it easy to read the Gospel everyday. They say a priest loses his audience after ten minutes. These reflections are easy to read and meaningful. I love the daily reminder. Many times when I don’t think things are going well this always reminds me to step back and breathe....
Great- when it works
I love this app when it works. The homily & interpretation of Gospel help me start my day with God- awesome! But periodically the app fails & needs to be uninstalled & reinstalled to work- frequently ! I have emailed about this multiple times & have not been responded to. This makes me less fond of the app but I do what I must for your message. Thank you.
