My most frequently used App
This app is a must for living in China. It becomes a habit to check reviews before making any dining/purchase decisions. It also helps me to find a place for almost anything. Watching pets/parties/food videos shared by other people is a good time killer when I don’t have time to enjoy life.
Needed for China but fake reviews
This app lets you discover different venues in Chinese cities (mainly) but unlike Yelp, this app mainly ONLY promotes good reviews. Most of the reviews in China are fake, businesses pay for fake reviews from different groups. They often put a pretty girl on the cover to get clicks. A spa that I recently charged a 1000 membership shut down over night, the business owner ran away, leaving all members holding the bag. No explanation. Phone number down - no customer service. “Welcome to China”. I tried to write a half a star rating and was rejected by DianPings corrupt system for “violation of usage rules” whatever the f that means. This app is as corrupt as its business registrants. So use due diligence when using anything Chinese. When everyone has 5 stars, you need to use some common sense on what’s actually good or bad. This app is a disgrace!
Good app for your daily life
Recommended by my friend, I installed it and found it offered too many choices for your daily spending, great fun and good discount, including free charges for your well planned food, hotel or experience. I got used to check in this app before I move to consume, online order helped me a lot.
