Assemble a party to defeat mythical monsters using unique dice combat!

Dice Rogue is a roguelite rpg game with a unique dice combat system. Roll each hero's die to make powerful attacks and cast devastating spells. But be careful, not every roll will be fruitful. Will the fates be on your side?

Battle through increasingly difficult encounters against unique monsters. After each successful encounter, you will be granted a boon to empower one of your heroes. Through a branching path, battle your way to the end and claim victory. With 6 unique hero classes, over 25 spells, and more coming soon, customize your adventure to your play style.

This game is in early access. Thank you for contributing to the success of Dice Rogue. I will continue to update the game with more content. I appreciate all of your support and please leave feedback and suggestions in the comments.

Major update! I finally got some time to make a substantial update. Here are some of the big changes:

- Battery life improvements. Specifically, app now runs at 30fps (instead of 60fps) and 10fps when there are no animations running. This should greatly increase battery life.
- Reworked heroes and party. You now select 3 unique heroes who each have 2 unique dice (for a total of 6 dice). This should make Boons more impactful and make the UI less cluttered. Additionally, enemies can now have more than one die.
- Multiple dice. Each hero now currently has 2 unique dice (I want to add more in the future).
- Skills now can be upgraded up to 5 times and are classified into tiers. The core skills come unlocked with the hero and additional skills can be purchased from other tiers. Currently you can purchase from any tier, however this may change in the future.
- Added a continue system so that you can continue a run that is in progress. The system loads to the exact point you were at if the App closes for any reason.
- Reworked most of the enemies. In general, it should be easier to reach the end.
- Added new statuses and reworked several old ones.
- Returning players should have all their Cards and XP Coins (all Hero XP was converted to XP Coins) refunded to spend in the new system.

An amazing game that scratches just the right itch

I am blown away by this game! Wonderful execution of a fun concept with tons of both luck and strategy involved. The UI is able to be quickly learned and understood, at least for me. The combat and gameplay loop is straightforward and rewarding. This game really is a gem hidden amongst many poor executions of a similar idea. This game does it right.
I’m excited for more content, more meta progression, and more difficulties! Maybe sometime an ascension type system? With each run victory unlocking a deeper, more difficult gameplay element.
Regardless, the game is already fun! I’m going to have a great time mastering it!

Can’t wait to see more!

The combat system is very well designed - I enjoy the way dice rolls interact with character abilities, and I think the die faces are well-balanced. Currently, the game has some replay value, but that will drastically improve once character trees and die face purchases become available. I’d also like to see if random event encounters could be added to the runs - combat is nice, but it would bring more randomness/uniqueness to each run if maybe we randomly encounter some non-combat situations. Overall, the game has a very good foundation now and will become a roguelite staple once more developments are made.

Great start, but improvements and fixes can be made.

I love the gameplay! It’s a great game and it has a lot of potential to get even better! Some issues did come up however, so I’ll just try and quickly list them. When I play, it seems that some of the buffs from winning battles don’t actually work, like shield regen and health regen. Also, I did have a die once get stuck, so I had to reset a run. But other than that, the game seems to work perfectly fine. I would love to see more of the features shown to be added soon!
