Disc Golf Valley 4+

I’ve been playing this game a few years now, and for the most part I love it. It’s both challenging and pretty, and it’s 95% fair, consistent, and rewarding with shot making.

The big, big exception: having dead center spit outs on 10 ft putts is completely unacceptable. It happens at least once per round, statistically vastly more often than in real life. It’s frustrating because if you *almost* park a hole, that should be a guaranteed birdie. It should not be left to an rng, or bug, or whatever is causing it. Please, please fix this!!

1 star. At first thought this was a cool game but after a few hours of playing it realized the people who made it have never actually thrown a disc in their life. No reason to have a disc slide 100 feet on grass then hit a rock and fly 70 feet into the air. I've been playing disc golf for 15 years and I've never actually seen that in person. They tried too hard to make it "realistic" and failed badly. You have to practice the courses on the game over and over to find the perfect shot off the tee where it won't hit a tree or land in water and then of course the disc flies differently every time so you have to be incredibly lucky most of the time. Why so many obstacles????????????? Every throw you have a narrow window of missing a tree, an OB or water and it's literally on every throw. Holy F. Make the game more enjoyable, take out all the obstacles and fix your physics so your disc will hit the ground like a disc hits the ground. Grass is not ice. There doesn't have to be 50 trees and a river on every basket. Truly wish this game was better, it has so much potential. I don't even leave reviews but this game definitely deserves a 1 star with an explanation

I would love to give this a higher rating but new users should be aware that on some holes, albeit not many, the physics of how a disc flies are completely baffling. It seems to be a built in difficulty factor on these few holes. You can throw a backhand with the cross wind helping and somehow the disc will fly the opposite way for half the throw! And on some holes the discs simply do not fly the correct distance even factoring in elevation, wind and throw angle. Once you memorize those few holes it gets easier. A bit frustrating until then. UPDATE: just played two holes and had the same 307 ft shot to the hole with the same wind, same disc. First was a bit uphill and a 100% shot went 80+ ft PAST the hole. The second, tried twice, was woefully short with a 100% shot on level ground!!!
