Great game, but currently unplayable

I have an M1 Mini. I played the original last year with no problems. Recently downloaded The Final Cut, and now my mouse pointer disappears. I was able to "fix" it by pressing Command-F twice to exit fullscreen mode, but now that won't work. I know I'm not the only one to have this problem--it's been reported on a few forums. Please fix it so we can play this awesome game!

Love this game

Running the game in 14.1.2 on a M1 MacBook Pro, with a Studio Display. The game had been a bit buggy in recent months, but Game Mode in 14.1 seems to have smoothed it out significantly.

I'm studying this game for an academic paper and switching back and forth between Ulysses and Disco is now very very smooth. Under 14.0 and even later iterations of MacOS 13, the mouse pointer would often disappear, making the game very hard to play.

Great to be able to play one of my all time fav games again.

Fantastic game - horribly optimized

The very little of this game I was able to play had me in awe. The writing is extremely clever, the gameplay is fresh and interesting and the world is beautifully rendered in all its downtrodden glory.

Unfortunately, the game has been incompetently optimized for Macs; the frame rate chugs, even on the lowest settings, and there are constant, unending crashes. I was booted to the desktop about six times in the 30 or so minutes I played this game. That's real bad, folks.

I was hoping that maybe there'd be a patch due soon to fix the incessant crashing but the game has been out for SEVEN months as of this writing and it's still in this unplayable state. Save your money. Wait for the game to either be patched into stability or buy it in another format.
