I really like the very clear picture that we get with dish and enjoy dish anywhere, great when traveling; however, I’m very disappointed that we are not getting one of our local stations, and now we are not getting Cinemax or HBO, when we signed up with dish a lot of our decision was because we could get all the local stations, I understand about contract negotiations between dish and our local abc station, but it is just about the last straw not getting both Cinemax, hbo and the local abc station, seems to me that dish has broken their contract with me by not providing what I signed up for, being disabled the hbo and Cinemax was our main form of entertainment, and the local abc affiliate carried quite a few on the college football game I wanted to watch, I think dish should bite the bullet and pay the networks and provide we consumers what we signed up to receive, it’s not our fault that it is going to cost dish more money, they should have to honor the contract that we, the consumers, wanted to watch, I know that there are options and have started to check into them to replace dish, not my first choice, just want what I signed up to receive
Dish is better than Direct TV
I had Direct tv since 2004. At that time it surpassed Pine Tree cable and Dish Satellite at that time so I joined Direct Tv at that time. I asked neighbors about who to use for TV Cell phone etc , the answer was Direct tv and Cellular One. I’ve had both for a long time. Ever since AT&T company bought out Directv , I guess they think there so BIG the little people don’t matter. To start with they set appointments and come late and don’t care and say we are here now. I had three appointments and they were late all three times. No big deal to them.I have a lot more than this to share, but will do it on there site. Dish has come a long way. There customer service seems great. So far. I’ve only been with you for a Month. That’s why only for stars, so far. So keep up the great work.
Mean what you say and say what you mean. Don’t be a Driectv. I’m sure you will earn your fifth star. The only thing wrong is my Service tech. Was great explained everything and when I went to do the survey it had timed out. I forgot so I dropped it to three stars. I’m still wanting to do the survey still it’s only fair for him to enable to complete it. Sorry for the book. Keep up the good work. Mickey
We tried another provider for 2 years. We went through trial after trial. iPad app was a mistake. Rarely worked. I was counting the days to order Dish! I noticed immediately the picture quality was clear, bright and the best I’ve seen and not be 4K. The iPad app is seamless and user friendly. I can watch, record, rewind if I missed a part. The Installation was quick and professional. The installer was very helpful in explaining the new system. Yes I said new system! We can speak into the controller and it will take us to the program we want to see or offer many channels with the same name ie NBC. We really don’t watch much TV but when we do we want to sit back and relax. Not worry that I have to plug unplug something to get it to work. Thank you Dish for providing a product that will take us into the future quite nicely.
