Fantastic Tool
Edit: Downgraded to 4 stars because it does not display hidden files. This is a rather large drawback. In my case I had a 3GB Git .pack file. TreeSize shows this.

I've used a whole bunch of tools in this category like Daisy Disk, Netonky, Space Gremlin etc.
Some of them are pretty but functionality wise Disk XRay is on point and I like the filters for media, photos, documents etc as
The duplicate finder as well as temp file removal is super useful.
A bit surprising to see the low rating for this app.
Super handy to clean my macs
I have used the lite version a few years to have a quick look around where my drive space is being used, and just got the full version.
You can ignore the old bad reviews. Credit is due for the creator. Across a couple OS X version with intermittent use, I have never had an issue with the app.
It is fast. Very logical layout and easy to use. Does what it claims to do. Scanner. The table view with folders and sizes, is actually better than some apps that show flashy circles and pie diagrams. Duplicates. Cleanup. They do what they need to do. The only annoyance with first use is giving it permission to look in folders and drives, due OSX sandboxing in recent years.
Best of the Lot!
I have 5 macs, old and new, 10 external Hds, and millions of files (as many of you do)... it stretches back well before 2000. This app does it ALL! Clearly presented, in several different ways, and clearly beats a number of pricey alternative apps. My choice for "Best of Show." It shows it all, and does it all ! 5 Stars!
