Description

Display My IP app displays your public IP address and country in the macOS menu bar and notify you when your IP address changes. Also, you can see a list of local addresses in the internal menu.

App relies on the status of the network interface and updates your public IP address when something changes (ex. new Wi-Fi or VPN connection). As a backup, app periodically updates the IP address in the background.

In the Preferences menu, you can shorten or hide your IP address from menu bar. As well, you can choose to show a country flag, country code, or even hide all country staff. Enable autoupdate every 1, 5, 15 minutes, or never. And more.

App makes requests to our remote server to find your public IP address. There's no other way to reliably get your public IP. We don't store any data about you.

Good but buggy

Sometime it won't refresh and even the refresh button won't work.

does not refresh the ip

This app is perfect in terms of visuals, but it fails to refresh my ip via "refresh" menu action - only restarting the app helps to see that my ip address has changed.

I am using hiddify app with "global proxy" setup (vless) and when I change the country of a proxy inside the hiddify app - this app does not see the change even if I click "refresh" 3 or 5 times - only restarting this app helps to resolve the new ip properly.

At the same time, disabling the proxy is properly detected by the app, so I think there are some poorly implemented ip address caching policies inside the app that cause this..

Worked until it didnt

Was wonderful tool to use with my VPN which could quickly show me which country I was connected to without having to look up the ip location manually but it suddenly stopped working and has just displayed "resolving" ever since. It claims im offline when im not. USed to be a great tool but no point in keeping something that doesnt work now
