【Game introduction】

In the game, members of a science team are forced to stay at the Arctic base because of an accidental crash of their helicopter. They need to search for provisions in the base and then escape from it. But in the base, when players fall into deep sleep, aliens will be attracted here to absorb life. The team members try to defend aliens by staying awake, but they gradually become mad with sensory disorder due to lack of sleep and are unable to tell the difference between reality and illusion. Please lead the surviving team members through the randomly generated polar base to face the extreme weather and fight against aliens so as to complete your survival adventure.

Realistic Polar Environment

Cheerdealers, development team of Distrust, comes from Siberia, who has an advantage in developing polar-themed games. If the player stays outside the house for a long time in the game, there will be a freezing effect on the screen. The development team even invites players to visit the Arctic for real to experience extremely cold weather.

Classic Alien Elements

The game is inspired by the classic horror movie—The Thing in 1982 with certain adaption in it. When players fall into sleep, aliens will be attracted to absorb their life, which brings debuff to them. Both sides have their weaknesses.

Multiple survival strategies

There are 15 talented expedition members for players to choose from and each of them has unique skills. One shall choose 2 members to start the adventure. The combination and strategy will determine how to survive.

Random Stages and Multiple Endings

Distrust adopts a Roguelike-style random map that randomly generates a new set of map stages and tasks each time when a new game starts, making the game more random and repeatable. Meanwhile, the game is also designed with four kinds of endings. In some special stages, a player’s choice may determine the final result.

Yes Yes!!

I cannot say how much I enjoy this game! I normally struggle with these types of games but everything is clear and I am addicted. Had it on preorder and so glad I did! Only issue is one time one door a furnace & a generator were invisible? I could interact with furnace and generator but it’s like the door wasn’t there and I needed to get to the next room to close a window but the “door” was locked and ended up getting a cold and had to restart the game to see things. Secondly, almost every time I switch to a zone (this has happened as soon as I got full version) I crash. At first it was not bothering me because I can just reopen but then it crashed after I switched from being in a zone for an hour and a half and I lost ALL of that progress so I have to do it over again. Great game but so much crashing and occasional glitches :( please fix.

Potential, but disappointed

When I first saw this game was able to be preordered I instantly as interested in it. Now it is finally here. Started playing it and liked what I played. It is very different from any other game I have played. Not sure what else the game has to offer though. Other than the story line and what not. Not sure what they plan on adding. I understand what they are trying to do. They let you play the first “level” or as they call it in game the zone. Then after you go to zone 2 it takes you to the main menu and you need to buy the full version. It’s $2.99 which is a little higher than most games. Now from what I have played and seen. That would be worth it except for what? 6 more zones that I can fly through? I also played on the more challenging mode. When I saw the pictures I first though of the game Last Day on Earth which is a great game. This is not that at all. One major thing I would love to see added is multiplayer is just a straight up endless survival. I believe for $2.99 you money is spent better else where. Not that this game isn’t good or doesn’t have potential, but i haven’t played a good game where they give you a few free levels then say purchase full game for more. I was still a little pleased with this game. The mechanics are different in a very good way.

JeonKi ,

I was instantly disappointed, I thought this game would be just endless survival like minecraft or something. And after Zone 1, you send me back to the main menu. The game crashes all the time, very buggy, and overall very frustrating. I liked the concepts and the controls, but the overall experience was just disappointing. From the previews, it looked like it was going to be a endless survival game, however it was the complete opposite. It’s just like any other level-ed game. Why should I spend my money on this disappointing game? $2.99 isn’t that over priced, but still costs more that your average game.I know your trying to catfish is us much as possible, in your country, 2.99 USD is equivalent to roughly $19 dollars! If you ask me, that is just insane to pay for a game. And even if I do pay that $2.99 extra fee, what are you going to exchange for my $2.99? Like 6 more zones to play in? And then ask me for more money? I don’t mind paying to play a game, I know the developers have work on a game for months and years, and I appreciate that, but this game is just disappointing, I have been waiting for it for over 1 month. You can choose to ignore this comment if you like after all, it’s your game, your company’s wealth, not mine. Best luck to your game :).
