Ditto connects users in 4 minute live video speed dates from the comfort of their home. All that is needed is a phone/laptop, an internet connection and one’s beautiful self. No cringey opening lines and doctored profiles necessary. Users can live video speed date through our 2 main features:
Sessions: Open ended live video speed dating, occurring once a week on a Tuesday at 8pm. Thousands of people all video speed dating simultaneously... for FREE! Our Sessions go live at select locations across the United States.
Virtual Events: Hosted throughout the week for various communities and groups. Get yourself a ticket, both free and paid, and video speed date people the same as you. Our events occur in various cities around the world.
HOW LIVE VIDEO SPEED DATING WORKS
* Log in for one of our Sessions, or get yourself a ticket for one of our many virtual community Events.
* Be welcomed by a Live Host or an intro video, giving you the DL of how our Session or Event will go.
* Set your preferences for who you are wanting to meet.
* Ditto pairs you with another user for a quick 4 minute live video speed date. 4 minutes is all you need to know if there is a vibe. Once the countdown timer hits zero, the date is over.
* Choose anonymously whether you Like or Pass on them.
* Sit back and wait for your next date to appear on screen.
* Once you have finished all your video speed dates, see who you have matched with. Strike whilst the iron is hot and take it to In Real Life (IRL)

Better then dating app
Sometimes video doesn’t work, and nothing you do about it.
Too many glitches for the app to successfully match you yet; not ready for launch
I love the concept of speed dating online to find a match IRL. I’m not sure if the app is quite ready to match successfully. I signed up for a 1.5 hour speed dating session. 9 dates total. There were video issues with 3 of the dates - they could not see me, my name, or my age - but I could see them. 2 of these men I was actually interested in but who knows if their not seeing my visuals will deter them from messaging me given that they weren’t even able to see my name. 3 of the dates were men most likely from another dating group because they were over the age range that I had signed up for. 1 of the dates had bad audio.
The speed dating moved somewhat smoothly transitioning between dates for the first house. I had a book to read and there were prob 5 min breaks between dates. Except for the last half hour. I think I read my book for 20-25 minutes straight. So that was sort of a bummer.
So ultimately, I felt a bit disappointed that 3 dates were above my age range, only 2 were somewhat close to my age but didn’t see my video or important age/name, and the last half hour I only spoke with one person who couldn’t even see me! So out of 1.5 hrs I had 9 dates total, but 5 of them had problems due to the app. Take from this review what you will.
Not available in my area
I don’t have access to the features cause this app isn’t available in my area. I don’t have the connections tab like the app says is part of the next steps. I bought a ticket and to keep going thru the ticket to get access and I really wonder what I missed and if I got any matches….
During the speed dating, I never had all of my dates. I sat for 30 mins towards the end waiting for another date before logged off. The last date a man was totally blacked out screen and I could hear masturabation noises. It was very unpleasant experience.
