Dive Chat is for making moments happen with the people you spend time with in the real world.
Create Dive Events that you can share with a link so that anyone can see the details and RSVP, even without downloading the app! Better yet, share events in your Dive Groups which are perfect for your friend group, active club, fraternity, sorority, student organization, or anyone you make memories with. MAKE MOMENTS HAPPEN.

• Multiple subchats, all under one roof. Dive Groups let you combine different topic-based subchats under one umbrella to keep track of your messages and stay organized.
• Events happening in your group stay pinned to the top, right alongside your chats, so nobody misses them.
• Find every photo, video, poll, link, and form that has been sent in the group inside the gallery.
→ Subchats
• Within your Dive Group, subchats are dedicated to topics where you talk with friends, plan the next hangout, and send polls, photos, videos, and GIFs.
• Subchats can be open, private, or for announcements-only where only admins can send messages. Everyone in the group can create a new subchat, but only admins can automatically add everyone.
→ Dive Events
• Create an event with all the details and collect RSVPs from the people you invite.
• Friends without the Dive Chat app can RSVP on the web and stay updated via text message.
• Share events with a link or directly to your Instagram Story, Snapchat Story, and Dive Groups.
• Create graphic event covers with templates and effects.
→ Spam React
Really like a message? Wanna clown your friend? React to messages with any emoji you want. Them spam the reaction to show how you REALLY feel. Can you reach the spam react limit?

• Add a bio and all your socials (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Spotify, Snap, and Venmo)!
• Set a nickname for each chat you’re in! Go crazy, go stupid.

Indicators in the chat let you know when group members RSVP to events or when the host sends an announcement!
→ Redesigned Chat Bubble Menus!
When you long press on a message bubble, a new menu appears showing message timestamps, reactions, and other options more clearly.

When you create a Dive Group, you’ll see templates for different types of groups you can use Dive Chat with! Choose one to get set up quickly with relevant subchats and events.

• New: “Interested” is now “Maybe” when RSVP-ing to events.
• New: Tapping the + button on the main page now teaches you how to join a group you’ve been invited to.
• Improved: Opening the summary of reactions is much quicker and more responsive.
• Improved: Opening the expanded emoji palette is much quicker and more responsive.
• Improved: Adding stickers and images to your events is much quicker and more responsive.
• Improved: Quick RSVPs on event cards now show Going, Maybe, and Not Going rather than just Interested and Going.
• Fixed: In rare instances, attempting to open very old subchats would cause the app to freeze.

Dive has made it so easy to connect with communities, make friends, and stay in touch with existing friends. I’ve had to download so many different group chat apps throughout college and work, and dive has the best features out of all these apps. It’s very easy to create a new group chat and invite friends from groups you’re in - this would have been great to have when I was starting college as I’m sure it will be for current students. The developers have been super responsive to feedback and are committed to making it the best experience possible. Lastly, the react future makes it super fun to use and can make the chats feel like a party 🥳
Simplifying the Group Messaging Experience
As a college student, involved in many different social scenes and organizations I have struggled with keeping up with announcements and events because of the current messaging platforms that they are using. Messages get lost extremely easy. Dive has changed the game!! This app’s layout is simple and eye pleasing. Within each group I am apart of there are subchats for specifics topics which makes finding information so much easier. I also really appreciate the events portion on Dive. Events are put into a separate page as well as in their specific group. I love this app — my life is so much more organized!
Perfect for Student Organizations
I’m a college student who is involved in many student organizations. We use various platforms to communicate, but every platform we use has several flaws. During our first moments with Dive, we immediately noticed the colorful and easy to use interface. Though it’s packed with features, it has a simple layout that anyone can feel comfortable with. There are so many useful features in this app. From creating events, to scheduling, and customizing your experience, the list goes on. The app truly combines the best from GroupMe, Slack, and Facebook Messenger into a single, intuitive app. More organizations need to use this app!
