→ Groups: The Home for Your Community
• Groups on Dive Chat have a shared calendar that any member can add to.
• Members get automatic reminders about upcoming events inside the group.
• Create unlimited topic-based subchats inside the group to keep conversation organized.
• Find every photo, video, poll, link, and form that has been sent inside the gallery.
→ Subchats
• Within your Dive Group, subchats are dedicated to topics where you talk with friends, plan the next hangout, and send polls, photos, videos, and GIFs.
• Subchats can be open, private, or for announcements-only where only admins can send messages. Everyone in the group can create a new subchat, but only admins can automatically add everyone.
→ Dive Events
• Create an event with all the details and collect RSVPs from the people you invite.
• Friends without the Dive Chat app can RSVP on the web and stay updated via text message.
• Share events with a link or directly to your Instagram Story, Snapchat Story, and Dive Groups.

A godsend for my friend group!
We were using basic iMessage for the longest and it was so annoying to create separate GCs for every topic (e.g. a single concert or stargazing group for repeat events). plus POLLS! we can finally have easy agreement/headcounts on dates that work for events!
I do wish there were some extra features:
* Hide events you have declined - seems like an easy filter. I don't want to see all the events I can't/don't want to go to on my Dive calendar. I also don't want those events to go onto my synced Apple calendar.
* Pin events to a specific channel - e.g. pending stargazing events could be pinned to the stargazing channel so they're easily found by members (similar to attachments being accessible from the chat's info).
* Chat on event pages - there's already a feed on events for responses and people can write comments there; I wish we could also converse on the event itself apart from those responses. It would help with figuring out logistics for an event with just attendees, rather than having all of that conversation in the larger chat.
* Share event administration - I've made events on behalf of others and wish I could "pass it over" (at least I haven't found a way to do it...) or share it with another person.
All around, love this app! It's been a big answer to my groupchat prayers 🤙

Dive has made it so easy to connect with communities, make friends, and stay in touch with existing friends. I’ve had to download so many different group chat apps throughout college and work, and dive has the best features out of all these apps. It’s very easy to create a new group chat and invite friends from groups you’re in - this would have been great to have when I was starting college as I’m sure it will be for current students. The developers have been super responsive to feedback and are committed to making it the best experience possible. Lastly, the react future makes it super fun to use and can make the chats feel like a party 🥳
Simplifying the Group Messaging Experience
As a college student, involved in many different social scenes and organizations I have struggled with keeping up with announcements and events because of the current messaging platforms that they are using. Messages get lost extremely easy. Dive has changed the game!! This app’s layout is simple and eye pleasing. Within each group I am apart of there are subchats for specifics topics which makes finding information so much easier. I also really appreciate the events portion on Dive. Events are put into a separate page as well as in their specific group. I love this app — my life is so much more organized!
