DjVu Viewer + DjVu to PDF 4+

Upon opening a file, the app takes a while to process it and nothing happens until it is finished, but it opens, and exports to PDF wonderfully. The resulting file is massive, but I have other tools to fix that, so it isn't a deal breaker for me. My only problem is it doesn't tell you how much it will charge you to upgrade. The only way to find out is going to the App Store, which doesn't paint the brightest picture on transparency.

So this is a strange review since it's actually a solid app that does what it advertises: not only viewing djvu's but the ability to convert to pdf, and at that almost instantly.

So why two stars? Well, the free version works for a week or two before it needs to be "unlocked" to continue to function. Okay, fine, not a problem, worth it. But "unlocking" is a process that obscures the purchase — as you are asked to confirm, fingerprint on MacBook, there is no acknowledgment whatsoever of *how much* you are about to be charged. Here on the app store it says $3.99, which is reasonable enough. But is that what I'm going to be charged when agreeing to "unlock"? Who knows! There is no mention of cost at this point whatsoever.

I noticed some critical reviews but decided to give it a try. At first it seemed the app indeed had a problem - when it lands on the dock and you click on it nothing happens. However, as I clicked the library file I wanted to read it opened it and that was really all I wanted. So works very well and great price.
