Stupid sign in process
Let's see. DMNS keeps sending mail saying they want us to only use the app and not our plastic cards. To sign into the app with an existing account you have to know your previous email, password and membership number, which is only on the card! I logged into the web site from my phone and never could find my membership number.
My wife cannot create an account to register a card because I already did. We can only sign into the app on one device at a time so she is stuck using the card unless I sign out and let her follow the dumb registration process with my ID.
Other than that it seems to work.
They send me an email telling me to use the app so i download the app only so they cam tell me they dont recognize me email...that they used to ask me to sign in on the app. So i find my member number on my welcome letter ans it sends me a password reset link. Never had a password though so it still doesnt recognize it. Oh yeah, and they never sent me a card so do i just carry around this welcome letter?
Can’t sign in
I already have an account online. Instead of letting me login with my existing password, the app forces me through the new account screen. It rejects my password because it contains special characters. The password works fine on the web.
I appreciate that they’re trying, but the basic features of the app don’t work well enough.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
