DocuScan Plus offers blind individuals the easiest method for conducting OCR related tasks on the Mac.
Interesting approach to OCR
You click on the App to open it. Nothing happens. You do a Force Quit and restart it. This time, a menu appears, but there are no choice under the menu. You Quit, then restart the App. You get a repeat of the previous experience. So, it's Free. It doesn't work, but it's Free. As I said, a really novel approach to OCR: a Free App that does nothing.

I wish I had read the reviews, but I thought, "How can I go wrong with a free app?" Simple: because you can't use it until you get an account. The description should not just say that it works iwth an account, but that you will have to shell out money to use the.
