Works Great!
I purchased the app on my Iphone 6 and for my Ipad Mini to watch and listen to my 12 Yr old Mini Schnauzer. Like many other reviews, my dog seems to get more anxious when he hears my voice through the commands and does not see me. I think the product works well but I have experienced some minor issues. There have been moments that no sound will play while I am monitoring my dog. There is a very small lag in video connection and sound. But overall I think it works well. The quality of the video is clear. I just downloaded the app for my Macbook. Hoping it works just as well.

Hi, thank you for your feedback, we're happy you like the app. As of the commands feature, we've discussed the feature with veterinarians and they said as well that each dog may react to it differently. We also emphasize the commands should always be used for positive messages only and to calm the dog down. If you experience any issue with the sound or the video, could you please reach out to our support team at helpme@tappytaps.com, and tell us what two devices do you use, which one as the Dog Station and which one as the Person Station, what version of the operating system both devices have, and what version of Dog Monitor is installed on both of them? We will help you.
Good but...
This app is really nice to be able to see what is going on at home, but very annoying have to buy the app two times, one for my mac and one for my phone. A serious money making scheme from the developers, $10 is a lot to pay for multiple device usability. Also the workarounds they post do not work! It is also a huge drain on the battery for both devices, so be prepared for that if you want to watch all day. I have to leave it plugged in at home. The connection does drop a lot which I could see being a problem for some people that really like to be able to track everything. I do like the feature where you can listen to every noise so I can tell if the noisy notifications are from the dog or traffic. Would recommend with some hesitancy.
Good, but a couple of things I'd like to see
I like the Dog Station window to be expandable to fill my 13" display.
I'd also like the ability to transmit video to the dog station, so they can see my face, but I understand this could be a bandwidth killer.
