What is a door? Does a wooden or metal rectangle always symbolize the ‘exit’? That is not always correct. Stereotypes can be deadly. If you cannot leave, that means you did not realize what I am trying to tell you.

So much fun
I am having problems with the bug that everyone is mentioning, but other than that, I highly recommend this game. It really makes your brain work, and the graphics are so good, it really makes you feel like you are in the rooms. That's why chapter 3 was a little disappointing to me aesthetically; mainly because I've been so spoiled by the first two chapters. And I have to say, I do miss the fact that each chapter in the original D&R game had its own theme (a hospital, a castle, a Saw-type house of horrors, etc.) I thought that really made it feel more like an adventure. That's why I'm giving this four stars instead of five (the key thing doesn't bother me that much). So if you haven't played the original yet, you should definitely check that out.
Good so far
**Update** I have now noticed the bug that most other reviewers have mentioned. I contacted the developers about this because apart from this issue (which I believe has something to do with the ads in the game since it is generally after I close out an ad that the app freezes and I have to restart it) I enjoy the game. Because it is becoming cumbersome to continually close the app and start the app again, I may not continue until the bug is fixed. I took off one star from my first review for this reason. I wish there was an option to purchase a version without the ads.
I only just started playing this game. I like how the first doors and rooms didn't have the feature where you need to "spend" keys to get into the next room/level because I have a feeling that the way this is designed is for people to spend more money in order to advance. I would much rather have a game with a one time fee to unlock all of the levels so that you can play freely rather than having to purchase individual rubies or coins, or whatnot. Otherwise this seems to be a cool game. I did enjoy the first doors and rooms as it was quite challenging and I had to really think about all of the clues and how they came together. Unfortunately, in the first game, the puzzles were not entirely straightforward and didn't Always make a lot of sense as to what you should do in order to find the keys.
Not as challenging early on. Screen freezes, too many ads.
I loved doors and rooms 1 and was excited to try 2. I like the vertical screen option but the ads are REALLY annoying and have nearly pushed me to quit playing and I just downloaded the app today. For some reason after every level I complete the main page freezes. I have to restart the app to move on. I also refuse to pay for in-app purchases so if it gets to the point where you're required to pay for keys to keep playing, I'll stop. I would pay a couple bucks for the app itself, with no ads.
The improved graphics and ease of use are great. Love the addition of the note pad. I don't love the clues that automatically give you. I prefer to do the rooms with no help.
Once they fix the freezing screen and reduce the ads, it will be way more fun to play.
