Can’t purchase tickets ahead of time and app doesn’t warn you of that
Your tickets must be purchased 2 hours or less prior to your trip.
This means that you can’t purchase your tickets in advance to make travel plans easier.
There should be a day/time select option rather than having the ticket start at the time of purchase and only last for 2 hours.
As I like to plan ahead for my travels and purchase advance tickets this wound up wasting 60 DKK. Not much, but wasteful.
Cant determine my location
My gps is working fine and it even has a dot at my location in the app, but it says it cant determine my location so I can't buy tickets. First - fix the app! Secondly - why can't I just manually enter my location. The lack of userfriendliness and this issue make it clear they aren't putting much effort into the app!
Also the prices are the same as buying on the bus or at a ticket machine. Why aren't they the same as w the rejsekort? Well probably because Denmark's public transit is run like a business and not like public transit.
The developers should look at Skåne's public transit app. That one is spot on. I use Skåne's app when I visit Malmö because of how terrible DOT and their app/rejsekort are.
Worked fine for me
Seems like lots of users were experiencing issues but I had no problems at all with this app. I’m on iOS 12 and it’s July 2019.
Instructions about ignoring the check in card readers would be an improvement to avoid confusion for first time users.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
