This is a great app to manage your diet

It’s extremely easy to use. All you do is scan the barcode of the food you would like to inspect and it tells you how much sugar, starch, and heavily processed seed oils are in it. It also gives a list of the ingredients, highlighting the more malignant ones. I just wish after you scanned an item, it would save that scan in a database so you can go back and look at it in the future. If you get 200 scans you could create a great catalog of what to eat and what not to eat.

Good App for quick food information

The app has been helpful in noticing more seed oils in our food, processes sugars and processed starches. I was surprised to find out that Dave’s Killer Bread (sprouted) was a 6 and Cascadian Farms organic cereal (fruity crispy rice)was an 8.

One suggestion for an improvement is there be an explanation to the Contained Ingredients for the meaning of the colors associated with the ingredient. It seems like the color codes are the same as in the Macro weight Breakdown although there are certain ingredients that are red, such as carrageenan.

Mind Blown!

I just downloaded Dr Berg‘s app and was quite surprised that some of the things I thought would be about a five are actually a nine and even my bottle of magnesium glycinate was only a two! Since I eat a lot of Whole Foods, many of my foods do not have barcodes! Lol! But this app will be nice to check the things like cheese or yogurts that are sort of iffy on the quality scale. Thanks, Dr Berg! As always, you’re the greatest!!!!
