App for Visual Learners

I have loved using DITKI in the past 2 months to review topics covered during my first year of med school. I am a highly visual/tactile learner, so being able to watch and draw along with the videos helps me to memorize material. I don’t think I would use DITKI to engage with didactic material for the first time, but I do use it as a tool for understanding how to best organize class material for faster/better memorization. With that being said, I wish DITKI had more background material to consult when I don’t understand a concept in a video. Overall, this is an engaging product that I wish I had found sooner!

Does not run like an app

I think the app is really confusing and doesn’t run like an app at all. It’s like whatever company this is was too lazy to create an app and instead put their website into an app thinking it would be the same thing. The text is blurry and everything is hard to navigate. Plus there is a one week free trial yet it never takes me anywhere where I can do an in app purchas. Therefore I can’t see anything. I’m sure whoever reads theses reviews is in no way in charge of pricing but wow the pricing is ridiculous. I’m in pre med, my senior year, and have never seen anything I’ve had to use this expensive. It makes you think you can view within your level such as undergraduate then makes you pay 10 dollars a month per subject. So it you actually wanted to see all subjects, it would be like 50 dollars a month. Just for a subsection.

Developer Response ,

Please visit our website You will not have any of the issues you are experiencing via the app. The pricing is $9.99/month for an entire course with significant discounts for longer-term plans. There is a one-week free trial. You can buy our Medical School Bundle, which provides access to all of the courses for $39.99/month.

STILL NOT optimized for iPad Pro

I don’t care what the app developers say, this app STILL does not work well with iPad Pro. I reviewed this a few months ago and basically nothing has changed. The image quality is terrible for the app, which means the app is meant for older generations and not iPad Pro, like the developers have claimed. The program itself works great on a computer, but since I’m reviewing the app, I still cannot give more than one star. Additionally, there is no option to print the drawing PDF that I assume is made to be able to print out or download to be able to draw along with the video, rendering the drawing pdf useless on this app.

I would love it if the developers could contact me so I can send screen shots of what the app looks like on my end, because it seems like they think it works fine for the iPad when it definitely does not.

Developer Response ,

Hi, We've just rolled out changes to address the image quality - this was related to some new security settings on our video player, and has been fixed. The Drawing PDF is not meant to be used in the Drawing Pad - it's simply a PDF for students who wish to print out the images and draw on paper (we had several requests for this feature, so that's what the PDF is there for).
Regarding the back button - please email us at so that our engineering team can have a look at it. We certainly don't want users to have such a frustrating experience in our App, which distracts from its educational mission.
