DrawX4 is a creative, social drawing game.
HOW IT WORKS
Artists take turns to draw a part of a body, then pass it on to someone else to continue. The next player must draw without seeing what has gone before. When the head, body, legs and feet have been drawn, everyone gets to see their creation.
DrawX4 is based on the Exquisite Corpse, a collaborative game invented by members of the surrealist movement in around 1925 but you may recognise it more readily as 'Consequences' or a nameless game you played as a child with a folded up piece of paper.
Redesigned for local play with friends there with you in.
Updated to Swift for better performance - now you can save videos of your drawings.
Ratings and Reviews
This is by far the best app for "Exquisite Corpse," the game popularized by Surrealists. It does crash on my iPad a lot, but I got in touch with the maker (a one man operation) via the "Feedback" button in the app, and he got back to me right away. I added a star for the prompt response and genuine wish to help! Hopefully, I can figure out if there is a pattern to the crashes (on iPad Air 2, latest update), to narrow down the problem. Till then, I've had fun adding to strangers' drawings (there are some very talented users mostly, but you can't always count on it, to be expected, and if there were more people it would improve the experience). It sounds like my problem with the crashes is rare, maybe unique for some reason, so jump in and make some weird art!
