The worlds largest dream database gives an unparalleled connection between dreams around the world. Have an interesting dream last night? Dream Journal Ultimate will automatically analyze your dream for common themes and show you similar dreams from around the world.

With Dream Journal Ultimate you can:
- Sync dreams across all your devices.
- Secure dreams with a pin on each device.
- Add tags to dreams.
- Share dreams to the Dream Wall.
- Read public dreams on the Dream Wall.
- Comment and like public dreams.
- View dreams similar to your dreams.

Dream Journal Ultimate includes a simple but powerful dream journal. You are able to log all of your dreams into the app. You can also keep your dreams a secret by locking the journal with a pin. You can conveniently enter new dreams from the home screen without requiring a pin, this is to make it easy to enter dreams but nobody will be able to read the dreams you enter if you pin secure them.

Have a dream that you wish to share with others? You can make any dream a public dream. The dream will then appear on the dream wall along with other public dreams. You can comment on and like the dreams of other users or read the comments that users leave on your public dream. The dream wall is a dreaming social network built right in!

Dream Journal Ultimate is the perfect app to help you get into lucid dreaming. Reality checks are one of the best ways to become lucid during a dream, Dream Journal Ultimate makes it easy to set reality checks for the day and night.

The day reality checks are there to remind you to check if you are dreaming during the day. You set at what time you want the reminders to occur between. You also choose the time interval for the reality check reminders. The night reality checks are there to attempt to trick your mind into checking if it is dreaming while you are dreaming. As you get used to the tone of the reminder, hearing the same tone in your sleep will increase the chances that you check if you are sleeping while you are in a dream. Reality checks do not require the app to be running at all for them to work, they use the phones native notification system.

There are more features to come for this app and I am definitely looking for feedback in adding new features or any bugs that may be found. Feel free to tweet us @dreamjournalapp

Great, Simple, and Awesome Community

With other dream journals / dream journal apps I just feel like it’s either not enough to properly record my dreams or way too forced. But with this app I feel they don’t necessarily force anything on you (eg make you do a dream daily, etc) while still giving the option to record dreams in an organized yet not crazy way, meaning that I can easily write down my dreams when I wake up. I also found that by adding tags to the dreams (things you can do in the app) I can sort of ‘track’ what kind of dreams I’m having and when. Also there’s no set ‘outline’ for the dream so I can describe it, and even add things like little notes to myself (for example I dreamed about the titanic one night and had watched the titanic movie the night before. Later going over it I could see the obvious connection). You have the option to record your dreams as lucid dreams easily, as well as ‘adult’ / 18+ dreams, and you can make it public as well which allows for others to respond and make connections in your dreams that maybe you don’t see. It helps when others make insight as well, and overall the community is cool and it’s always neat to see other people’s dreams but at the same time again it’s not forced: you can choose to keep the dreams you post private if you want. I really like this dream journal, it’s free and best of all there’s no ads or annoying pop-ups or anything.

Yeah, it’s pretty great

Yeah so I just got it and I’m already pretty enthralled by the whole thing.

The interface is surprisingly similar to that of Reddit’s, and is pretty intuitive, not to mention simple. In addition, navigating the app is simple. I could totally do for ‘writing a dream’ to have its own button on the bottom bar though, that would make a lot of sense. Also perhaps trying to make little dream communities, again, not unlike Reddit.

All in all, the power of the app rests in the social element. If the developers can figure out how to further streamline the interface, and really push the social aspect, I have no doubt this app will be here to stay, as it’s fairly niche if you don’t use Reddit itself.

That reminds me; in order for this app to be successful, it needs to distinguish itself from any Reddit dream page. There’s literally no difference otherwise, save for the app being more focused and convenient, although Reddit has a massive user base, and incredibly active community in virtually every subreddit. So, I would recommend, hold off on the premium until you get more users, which you could probably draw in with better interface design, unless of course, the premium thing is working well for you, which in that case, go for it.

Lucid dreaming in 1 week

I haven’t had a lucid dream that I can recall in over a decade. Last night, after just using this app for about a week, I had a lucid dream. I have tried dream journaling with pen and paper before, but this app makes it much more convenient to do as soon as I wake up. I can tell that my dream recollection is improving. The reality check feature is something I was slightly skeptical about working, but it’s really great. In the past when I took an interest in lucid dreaming, I tried just questioning if I were dreaming periodically through the day. But if it just slips your mind (like it would while dreaming) it’s hard to get in the habit. The reality check feature takes care of that. I love this app and plan on using it for a long time! :)
